    A Webster University account number has four possible components:

    Funds
    2-digit code. Specifies the overall funding source (e.g. unrestricted, temporarily restricted permanently restricted)

    Functions
    4-digit code. Designates a particular department or cost center.

    Objects
    4-digit code - Indicates the specific nature of the transaction (i.e. revenue and expenditures).

    Subfunds
    4-digit code - Indicates other sources of funding and/or another subset of a function.

    Based on the components listed above, account numbers follow this pattern:

    Fund - Function - Object - Subfund
    XX    -  XXXX      - XXXX   -    XXXX
