In addition to teaching, Julia works as a web and interactive designer and developer. She is the director of e-commerce for St. Louis based manufacturing company, Nomax, Inc and has created web sites for many other educational and corporate clients.
She is also the principal of Animocation, a company that creates educational, interactive, movement-driven exhibits. Julia also creates animated shorts using both traditional and computer-based methods. Her animations have been featured in several film festivals, including the New England Animation Bash, CINEME (Chicago), DAM Short Film Festival, Taos Shortz and the Durango Film Festival.
