      Employment Opportunities

The International Relations Program at Webster University prepares the students for a variety of employment. Graduates of the program serve and are qualified to pursue careers in:

1. Peace Corps

2. Diplomatic Corps of the U.S. and several other countries

3. The United States Department of Defense and the Department of Justice

4. International positions in banking, marketing, product management

5. International agencies such as the United Nations Development Program, Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO), United Nations Refugee Organization (UNHCR), World Bank

6. State commercial institutions

7. Research positions in libraries, American Academy of Arts and Sciences


In addition to employment, some M.A. graduates have entered Ph.D. programs at domestic and international universities as well as law schools.
