August marked the beginning of Webster University's 2010-11 academic year. Incoming freshman, returning upper classman and new students of all ages came on campus to learn more about being a Gorlok! 14.6 million Americans remain out of work this week and within that group 6.6 million have been unemployed six months or longer. The numbers are daunting. The 2010 Erik L. Bond '77 Lecture at MICDS commemorating Black History Month was held on February 17th and 18th, in Danforth Chapel on the MICDS campus. This year's speaker was Benjamin Ola Akande, Ph.D., Dean of the George Herbert Walker School of Business & Technology at Webster University.
