Biography:

Dr. Janet Kourik has a B.S.C.S. from Webster University, an M.A. from Webster University and a Ph.D. from Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Kourik's areas of teaching include database concepts and applications, information systems, operating systems, and distributed systems. Janet's areas of research include databases and analytics, agile methods, informatics, and computer science education. She has been published in the Journal of Business and Educational Leadership, Journal of Research in Higher Education, as well as national and international conference proceedings including ACM SIGMIS-CPR, ACM SIGCSE, CSEET, CSEDU, ACM SIGUCCS, ITNG, and PICMET.
