Professor John Aleshunas received his B.S. in Math from Carnegie Mellon, his M.S. in Computer Science from Missouri Institute of Science and Technology and will receive his Ph.D. (2012) from The University of Missouri, Saint Louis. John's areas of teaching include data mining, systems analysis, database systems and computer security. John's areas of research include evolutionary computation (genetic programming), machine learning and sabermetrics. John has been published in the Proceedings of the Association for Computing Machinery Genetic and Evolutionary Computation Conference, Dublin Ireland and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Congress on Evolutionary Computation.
