Dean Akande Named to List of Most Influential St. Louisans

Editors for the St. Louis Business Journal have named Dean Akande among this year's Most Influential St. Louisans. Dean Akande was highlighted for his success in running the region's largest MBA program and a truly global business school with campuses all over the world.

The list, which cites leaders from 13 other areas besides education, includes such notables as Hugh Grant, Chairman, President & CEO, Monsanto; Ward Klein, CEO, Energizer; Pam Nicholson, President & COO, Enterprise Rent-A-Car; Jim Albaugh, President & CEO, Boeing Integrated Defense Systems and Maxine Clark, CEO, Build-a-Bear.

Webster Recognized as Top University for Adults

Webster University is among the best in the U.S. when it comes to serving the academic needs of adults according to MSN Encarta, the digital multimedia encyclopedia published by Microsoft. MSN placed Webster into its list of the nation's Top 10 universities for adult learners citing its flexibility and focus on practical business majors.
