New Scholarship Gives Students “The World” at Half the Price
The School of Business & Technology is pleased to announce the new George Herbert Walker, III Scholarship in connection with the 2009-10 Webster Global MBA Program. The scholarship, which will cover half the cost of the Global MBA program, is named in honor of George Herbert Walker, former U.S. ambassador to Hungary and long-time champion of education at Webster University.
All students admitted to the Webster Global MBA Program are eligible for the award. The Global MBA course is a truly international degree where students study at 5 international Webster campuses (London, Vienna, Geneva, Leiden and Shanghai) over an 11-month period of time while earning a Global MBA.

Fond Farewell: Webster Director Appointed Head of Top Quebec College
Every spring the SBT says goodbye to hundreds of graduates leaving Webster to make their way in the professional world. This year, we also say goodbye to dear friend and top educator Len Even. Mr. Even will leave Webster and his post as director of our Leiden campus this spring to return home to his native Canada as the Director General of Marianopolis in Quebec.
"For 15 years, Len has personified Webster by ensuring the highest quality learning experience for all his students in The Netherlands," says Dean Akande. "It was through the hard work of Len that Webster University-Leiden received Dutch accreditation through the prestigious NVAO. He now takes his passion for education and his drive back to his native country where I know he will leave the same indelible mark on the lives of students there."
