Meet the Globals
For the past year, 11 success-driven students have made their trek across Europe and Asia, earning their MBAs and learning more than they ever imagined about the world and international business. These members of Webster University's Global MBA program are now in Vienna, Austria finishing up their degree in preparation to graduate next month. Over the upcoming weeks, we'll introduce you to these future leaders so you can see for yourself how they plan on impacting business around the world.

Webster Address Aids Job Seekers
With the U.S. unemployment rate well over 9 percent, those searching for jobs are resourcing a new network designed to help get them back on the payroll. Dean Akande kicked off GO! Network’s third series of professional development seminars this week. And as the SBT’s Charla Lord reports, hundreds were moved to lead without authority.

欢迎回来 (Welcome Home)
Members of the SBT's fourth annual Commerce in China course returned home this week. The unique hybrid class starts online then has students leave their laptops to fly straight into the country for corporate visits in Shanghai and Chengdu, China.
"We want students to see for themselves what is needed to successfully conduct business in this dynamic part of the world," says Dr. Debbie Psihountas, the professor in charge of the class. "By taking our students out of class and into these multinational businesses they learn first-hand the challenges and the benefits of doing business in China."
"Going provided me with real practical knowledge and the opportunity to listen and learn from the business leaders there," recapped student Tonie Akano. "I'm better informed about initiating a procurement business from China now."
Members of the SBT's Commerce in China class, like those in our Global MBA program, know that nothing compares to being there. To see more pictures from Webster's China in Commerce class, click here.
