BP, What Went Wrong?
Monday BP Plc made its first payment of $3 billion into a trust fund established to pay damages from the Gulf of Mexico oil spill. That’s $3 billion down with $17 billion to go for a company that sealed the well’s casing last week but is still reeling from the rupture of its business practices and leaks in consumer confidence.
