Remembering Anna B

It is said ideal teachers use themselves as bridges over which they invite their students to cross. Walker School of Business computer science professor Anna Barbara Sakurai was ideal. "It was a gift to spend time with Anna Barbara," reminisced friend and fellow professor Carol Schwab."Her vitality and caring turned every gathering into a special occasion." This week we lost our beloved colleague Anna Barbara. Her passing comes too soon for an extraordinary woman who meant so much to so many people. Anna Barbara made Webster University her home and us her family for more than five decades. Now we must say good-bye.
