Director
of the Center
Kate Parsons oversees administration of the Certificate. She advises students
who pursue the certificate, ensures that courses counting toward the certificate
are offered on a regular basis, and approves any practical experience, which
may be substituted for a maximum of 3-credit hours.

The Steering Committee proposes projects and activities for the Center and
periodically reviews the Certificate in Practical and Interdisciplinary
