The FDC offers a wide range of services to faculty. Some of those services are listed here. If you have any suggestions regarding additional services that the FDC should provide please send your suggestions to Tom James.The services offered by the Faculty Development Center are intended to support faculty with the integration of sound instructional techniques and the development of tools and activities that are pedagogically appropriate, including the integration of technology.
Teaching Consultations: One-on-one sessions designed to help faculty incorporate instructional design and/or instructional technology into their teaching, in alignment with learning objectives.
Classroom Activity Design: Work with faculty to develop classroom learning activities with and without the use of technology designed to satisfy teaching and learning objectives.
Multimedia Design and Technology Integration: Work with faculty to develop media tools and applications that are pedagogically appropriate, such as digital video and audio, interactive presentations, simulations, instructional games, web page design, web-enhanced course materials, and more.
Faculty Fellowship Support: The FDC provides comprehensive one-on-one support to all fellowship participants, as well as general support of the Title III Faculty Fellowship Program by facilitating information sessions for faculty who are interested in funding resources to improve the quality of learning in their classrooms.
