A Letter From the Faculty Development Center
The Faculty Development Center is pleased to provide this site to help faculty take advantage of WorldClassRoom, Webster's learning management system, to enhance their face-to-face classes with web-based tools. WorldClassRoom has been customized for face-to-face classes by pre-selecting tools that allow teachers to effectively enhance the learning experience beyond the classroom. Academic support components, including discipline specific library resources and access to writing assistance are embedded in every course.
WorldClassRoom tools have been specially organized to extend the physical classroom experience, allowing teachers to focus their attention on those teaching tasks that are fully realized in the classroom setting. We encourage you to fully use the WorldClassRoom to enhance the learning environment of your course, but please be advised that it may not be used to replace any normal contact hours of the class. Using WorldClassRoom for web enhancing face-to-face classes is a concrete demonstration of Webster's commitment to quality education.
