"The course tools in WorldClassRoom are... more robust and more flexible than either those in WebCT, which has been used for enhancing classes, or certainly those in Connections. Both Connections Course Tools and WebCT are a little cumbersome to use and are a little tedious and time consuming to work with, but they are worth the investment to give students the opportunity to experience a new way to see course materials. The new WorldClassRoom is much easier, it allows more flexibility for the faculty, and also is quicker to use, and easier for the students to access as well." -Gary Ford, Communications & Journalism Department

"...I found that the way they critiqued online was a little different than the way they critiqued in class.  Usually in class there are several people that talk a lot, and some people that you really have to nudge to get them to say anything. Online however, I found that the language changed, it was like they were having conversations... they typed off the top of their heads about what they liked and didn't like about the poems. I found it brought something to the discussion because it was also something I could refer to in class." -Paulette Schmidt, English Department

"I think the grade book is a great tool for teachers because it will streamline and organize your grades, and it also allows students to keep up with their grades so they can see where they are without coming to me and asking." -Paula Hanssen, International Languages and Cultures Department

"More and more we want students to turn in their work electronically, especially with something like Turnitin.com, where if you want to check for plagiarism, it has to be in electronic format. With a web enhanced course that uses the assignments tool, that makes it more convenient for both students and for instructors." - Roy Tamashiro, Multidisciplinary Studies Department

"I know some of us use Powerpoint in the classroom to teach, but that takes actual teaching time. So what we can do is prepare the Powerpoint but ask the students to watch it outside the classroom. One of the problems with Connections Course Tools was we couldn't put files of a certain size... having WorldClassRoom will solve that problem so we can put large documents for the students to download to their computer or just open it and view it." -Ali Ovlia, Math & Computer Science Department
