Contact information for the staff can be found on the staff page.
Where can I find out info about classes and registration?
Specific courses related to your own schedule must be directed to the Academic Advisor for your program. An appointment may be necessary for your specific question. Please contact the office at 864-676-9002 to schedule an appointment with your Advisor.
How do I purchase my textbooks?
Our official bookstore is MBS Direct and their website is www.mbsdirect.net/webster.
If you are unable to locate your textbooks from other sources, you can be sure this site will have it. They also have a toll free phone number, 1-800-325-3252, if you do not have Internet access. You are able to order your books through the internet, by phone, by fax, and by mail to MBS Direct Bookstore.
If you are using financial aid/student loans to pay for your classes, do not wait to buy your book. You need to have your textbook the first night of class. The office in St. Louis will deduct the amount of your tuition. If you have additional funds available, they will be sent to you by U.S. mail in the form of a refund check. The refund check is not mailed out to you until after the drop/add period, which is 2 weeks after the class has started. In addition, it may sometimes take up to another 2 weeks to receive it by U.S. mail. These additional funds, if any, essentially reimburse you for having to pay for the book out of your own pocket.
This bookstore does NOT carry the books you need if you are taking an Online Class through the St. Louis campus. Please click here to take you to the St. Louis bookstore. http://www.webster.edu/worldclassroom/textbooks.html
When and how will I receive my grades?
The instructors are required to turn in grades on the Friday following the last night of class. They are entered electronically via the internet.
The only employee of Webster University that is able to give out grade information to you is your instructor.
Other options to receive grades:
- Ask your instructor(s) to either e-mail, call or mail you with your grade. The instructor is the only person who is allowed to give you your grade. No one at the Greenville campus is allowed to access this information.
- Use your Student I.D. number and Password to look them up on the Webster site. If you do not have your Password, please click on http://www.webster.edu/registration.html to have your Password reset and mailed to you via U.S. mail. The Registrar's office is unable to give this Password to you over the phone or via e-mail.
How can I receive a copy of my password?
You may click on http://www.webster.edu/registration.html to take you to Registration and Services Online to request a copy of your password if you have lost, forgotten or never received it in the mail. Please click where it says to reset your password.
We are unable to give out passwords over the phone, by e-mail, etc. This is the only way you are able to find out your password.
How can I check on my student loan?
Most questions can be answered by using your password and logging into your account. See the above listed tip on how to obtain your password.
Due to this option, we will ask that you review your own account. If there is a problem with your password, please contact St. Louis at 1-800-981-9801.
If this is your first term and you haven't yet received your password, the method of choice to contact the office would be by e-mail. You may send questions by e-mail to either Tonya Thompson at tonyathompson40@webster.edu or to greenville@webster.edu and someone will get back with you promptly.
