    These tutorials will assist you in managing your Outlook e-mail application

    Setting the Send/Receive Options

    Setting the Send/Receive Options in Outlook

    NOTE: Depending on your email client setup some of these settings may not appear. Please call the Help Desk for assistance.

    1. Open Outlook
    2. Click on Tools > Options

    1. Click on the Mail Setup tab

    1. Click on the Send/Receive button
    2. Change the "schedule and automatic send/receive every ____ minutes" to 10 minutes OR MORE.

    1. Click Close
    2. Click OK on the options window

    1. Open Outlook
    2. Click on Tools > Email Accounts

    1. Click next to "View or Change existing email account"

    1. Click on your Webster email account and click Change

    1. Click on the More Settings button
    2. Click on the Advanced Tab

    1. IF "Leave a copy of the messages on the server" IS checked then make sure that "Remove from server after _____ days" and/or "Remove from server when deleted from Deleted Items" are also checked.
    2. Click OK
    3. Click Next
