Setting the Send/Receive Options in Outlook
NOTE: Depending on your email client setup some of these settings may not appear. Please call the Help Desk for assistance.
- Open Outlook
- Click on Tools > Options

- Click on the Mail Setup tab

- Click on the Send/Receive button
- Change the "schedule and automatic send/receive every ____ minutes" to 10 minutes OR MORE.

- Click Close
- Click OK on the options window

- Open Outlook
- Click on Tools > Email Accounts

- Click next to "View or Change existing email account"

- Click Next

- Click on your Webster email account and click Change

- Click on the More Settings button
- Click on the Advanced Tab

- IF "Leave a copy of the messages on the server" IS checked then make sure that "Remove from server after _____ days" and/or "Remove from server when deleted from Deleted Items" are also checked.
- Click OK
- Click Next

- Click Finish
