COMPOSITION OF THE BOARD
2012-2013

The IRB is comprised of nine faculty members appointed by the Faculty Senate. The committee has one physician (for medical reviews).

At least one faculty member is to be selected from each of the Webster University Colleges and Schools. Faculty members are appointed to serve 3 years. Due to the sensitive nature of the committee, it is strongly recommended that the Chair of the IRB have status at Webster University. Terms end on May 31st of each respective year. The board meets throughout the Fall and Spring semester. Summer meetings are infrequent.

Questions regarding IRB rules and regulations should be directed to the Chair. All applications should be sent to the Expediter. The proposal will be logged and sent to the appropriate reviewer (often the board member representing that particular school/college).
