    Ceremony

This is a formal recognition of graduating MA, MBA, and MHA students at Webster University in Louisville and Radcliff. It will consist of a formal program followed by a reception.  Graduates, family, faculty, staff, and friends are invited to the ceremony and reception.

Tickets are not required although space limits the number of guests per graduate to ten (10). There are two seating areas.  Graduates & Faculty in Section A, Family and Guests in Section B.

In order to graduate you must apply for graduation by completing an “Petition To Graduate” form and a graduate survey. These forms are available through the office staff at the Louisville campus. We also ask that you sign the graduation list with your name, degree, and number of guests you plan to bring. This can be emailed to us at Louisville@webster.edu. You must be on this roster if you plan to participate in the ceremony by May 15th.

Students who complete all their course work by May 18th are eligible to participate. Students completing their program in the summer or fall should attend the fall graduation but are encouraged to attend the subsequent May graduation if they desire.

    Academic Regalia

The University has an official graduation gown. In addition to the navy color, the gown features an environmentally conscious design. It is part of a new line of innovative regalia from Jostens called the "Elements Collection." The fabric is made from natural wood sourced exclusively from renewable, managed forests. The zipper is also made from 100% recycled material. The earth-friendly cap, gown and bag easily decompose when discarded.

Josten's gown ordering system click here.

Active duty military students may participate by wearing their full dress uniform.  A gown is not necessary.
