Webster University welcomes military students. Any active duty military member with a bachelor’s degree and an undergraduate GPA of 2.5 or better may pursue a graduate degree at Webster University at a low-cost military tuition rate. Special or provisional entry is available for those with an undergraduate GPA between 2.0 and 2.5.
Because of our national presence at many military posts and bases, Webster programs are especially portable.
Once a student is in the system, he or she can seamlessly attend classes at any of Webster’s 104 sites and, when necessary, take courses online. Tuition rates may vary by campus, but the quality of instruction is always excellent.
Our goal is to help military students successfully complete their graduate education. We work with students to earn their degrees no matter where they are deployed.
Military student requirements for admission are as follows:
- For those seeking advanced military credit for a Captain’s Career Course, Command & General Staff College, or the War College, submit an Academic Evaluation Report (DA Form 1059) that reflects Achieved Course Standards or Exceeded Course Standards in the Performance Summary block.
- Submit an official transcript showing completion of a Bachelors degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
- Complete and submit a Webster University graduate school application form with applicable application fee.
- Applicants are not required to complete separate graduate entrance examinations such as Graduate Record Exam (GRE), Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT), or Miller's Analogy Test (MAT).
Letters of recommendation are not required.
Military Cooperative Degree Programs (Transfer Credits) articulation agreements have been completed with the various captain’s career courses that allows officers to start with 9 to 15 credit hours of credit for their military schooling. Select the Military Cooperative Degree program for specific information about the potential transfer credits.
Active duty, Guard, and Reserve soldiers can attend the Louisville or Radcliff campuses at a reduced military rate. In addition to reduced rates, military professional education often transfers college credits. This can significantly reduce the cost of obtaining your graduate degree.
