After the Fall: Srebrenica Survivors in St. Louis

Photographs by Tom Maday
Text by Patrick McCarthy

After the Fall is the story of one family who lived through the 1995 fall of the United Nations-declared "safe area" of Srebrenica -- the worst atrocity in Europe since the end of World War II. More than five hundred survivors from Srebrenica are today in St. Louis, part of the larger Bosnian refugee community of 30,000.
