CREATORECORDER explores the dichotomy between a photographer as a documentarian and as an originator. The images, taken from desert, temperate and urban landscapes are manipulated to create a reality fashioned to the photographer's whim. Some of the images anthropomorphize the elements of nature by seeking out “human” qualities” applying human references to them. The intent of CREATORECORDER is to blur the line between what is reality and perception and to raise the question: to what extent is the photographer “plagiarizing” creation and at what point (if ever) does the photographer become creator.
