Webster Alerts for Memphis

If you are already signed up to receive Webster Alerts

1. Go to http://www.webster.edu/technology/websteralerts/
2. Login to your account
3. Click on “Groups”
4. Locate “TN Memphis alerts” and click “Subscribe”
5. While you are logged in, click on the “Services” tab and verify that your email and phone number are up to date to receive messages

If you are NOT signed up to receive Webster Alerts

1. Go to http://www.webster.edu/technology/websteralerts/
2. Click on “Create New Account”
3. Choose a Username and Password
4. Click the checkbox next to “TN Memphis alerts”
5. Enter your mobile number
6. Agree to the terms of service
7. Click the “Create Account” button
8. Wait to receive the validation code on your mobile device and enter it on the web page provided to complete the process

Notes:

• Webster will never send spam or unnecessary messages through the Webster Alerts system.
• Webster Alerts is a free service offered by Webster University, however standard text messaging rates will apply
• Cell phones and email MUST be validated before they will receive messages from the system, this is a security measure
