U.S. Army Telecommunications System Engineer Course

This advising paper describes pre-approved graduate transfer credit from the U.S. Army Signal School Telecommunications Systems Engineer Course (TSEC) and applies only to TSEC graduates from May 2001-Present for the following degree programs.

Transfer credit can only be applied to the above degrees and is limited to 6-15 semester hours depending on the program chosen.  Transfer credit for other MS or MA degree programs will be subject to evaluation based on the credit recommendations established by the American Council on Education (ACE) using course exhibit AR-1715-1073.

The American Council on Education’s Guide to the Evaluation of Educational Experiences in the Armed Services is the standard reference work for recognizing learning acquired in the military. ACE identifies the Telecommunications Systems Engineer Course using these descriptions:

    Course exhibit: AR-1715-1073
    Resident version course number: 4C-24A
Course Location: Signal School, Fort Gordon, GA
Course Length: 20 weeks (929–998 hours)
Exhibit dates for the course: May 2001 – Present

Since ACE evaluations are subject to change without notice, please confirm course information and credit recommendations using the ACE Guide course exhibit AR-1715-1073 before processing requests for transfer credit.
