2009 Photo Imaging Education Association’s Annual Competition Exhibit at Webster’s May Photography Gallery

What/Who: The 2009 Photo Imaging Education Association’s (PIEA) Annual Competition Exhibit is presented at Webster’s May Photography Gallery. Students compete by age group: 9th grade and below and high school and university levels. Students in 9th Grade and below compete in single images only and the other student levels and teachers compete in both single images and portfolios. Two 2009 PIEA International Traveling Photo Exhibitions tour major conventions, schools, colleges and museums for three years in the USA, United Kingdom, Australia, South Africa and Canada. PIEA is a special membership section of the Photo Marketing Association, the world's largest photo industry organization. PIEA is an international organization whose members are working professionals dedicated to creating resources to inform, support and and build stronger relationships with the photo industry.

Opening reception Friday, Dec. 4, 2009, 5–7 p.m.

Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday;

Saturday and Sunday, noon to 5 p.m.
