    "All Things Must Pass: Jazz Interpretations of the Music of George Harrison" at Webster University


    What/Who

    "All Things Must Pass: Jazz Interpretations of the Music of George Harrison," an instrumental jazz concert at Webster University. Performers include: Steve Schenkel, guitar; Paul DeMarinis, saxophone; Kim Portnoy, piano and Deborah Sharn, vocal on "All Things Must Pass." The performers will revisit some of Harrison's unique compositions, and use them as vehicles for improvisation.

    Songs include "Something," "Within You and Without You," "Taxman," "If I Needed Someone," "Old Brown Shoe," "Here Comes the Sun," "Blue Jay Way," "All Things Must Pass" and "While My Guitar Gently Weeps."

    When:

    Monday, Oct. 10, 7 p.m.

    Where:

    Winifred Moore Auditorium

    470 E. Lockwood Ave., Webster Groves

    Cost:

    $5 at the door.
