POSTPONED Webster University to Host Former U.S. Senator Bob Kerrey Feb. 29
Former U.S. Senator Bob Kerrey will discuss the current state of national politics and the forthcoming Presidential election with Webster University faculty, staff and students, Friday, Feb. 29 at 10 a.m., in the Webster University Sverdrup Building, Room 123, at Big Bend Blvd. and Edgar Road, in Webster Groves, Missouri.
Kerry, who is now president of the New York City university, The New School, was Democratic U.S. Senator for Nebraska from 1989 to 2001 before an unsuccessful candidacy for the 1992 Democratic presidential nomination. Prior to serving as senator, Kerrey was Nebraska governor, has a pharmacy degree from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and is a Vietnam War Medal of Honor recipient.
