    “An American Sampler” a Concert by the Webster University Choirs on May 2

    What/Who:

    The Webster University Concert Choir and Choral Society, under the direction of Robert Charles Howard and Allen Carl Larson, present “An American Sampler,” a concert of American folk songs and spirituals. 

    The concert will feature selections from Leonard Bernstein’s “Candide,” music by Webster University composers and “Fern Hill” by John Corigliano with soloist Debby Lennon.

    When:
    Friday, May 2, 2008, 7 p.m.

    Where:
    Community Music School of Webster University
    535 Garden Ave.

    Cost:
    Free and open to the public
