Community Music School of Webster University Faculty to Take Stage
WHO:The Community Music School of Webster University presents faculty members in recital, showcasing their abilities as outstanding performers as well as respected educators. Several original compositions will also be featured. Percussionist Joseph Pastor will perform his own Two Bagatelles for Solo Vibraphone. Pianist Vera Parkin will play Claude Debussy’s Ballade, and will also accompany Cathy Woelbling-Paul’s 3rd Solo de Concert for Oboe and Piano, Op. 40, by Charles Colin. Webster faculty member and saxophonist Paul DeMarinis joins Dave Black on the guitar in two duets by Mr. Black, Across the Borderline and Jigsawed in Half. Jeanine Garesche-York will also perform Five Pieces for Clarinet Alone, by William O. Smith.
