    Two Community Music School of Webster University Students Compete in MTNA National Finals

    The Community Music School of Webster University is pleased to announce that two of its students have advanced to the Music Teachers National Association’s (MTNA) National Finals.   Nicole Schroeder, age 17, is a member of the Pre-College Music Preparatory Program (PREP).  She will compete in the Senior National Competition Finals for violin (ages 15-18).  Dominic Cheli, age 14,  studies with CMS faculty member Zena Ilyashov and is also a member of PREP.  He will compete in the Junior National Competition Finals for piano (ages 11-14).  Both students are one of only seven finalists in the nation in their instrument categories.  The Finals will be held over March 29-April 1 in Denver, Colorado.
