    “Notes from Mother Earth” A Concert by the Webster University Concert Choir

    What/Who:
    The Webster University Concert Choir performs a concert entitled “Notes from Mother Earth” with Robert Charles Howard, conductor and Sue Goldford, accompanist.The music has to do with nature and the texts refer in one way or the other to the beauty of the natural world.

    The concert choir will perform “In These Delightful Pleasant Groves”  by Henry Purcell, “Sure on This Shining Night” by Samuel Barber, “Blow, Blow thou Winter Wind” by John Rutter, “Six Chansons” by Paul Hindemith, “Sheep May Safely Graze” by J.S. Bach, “Antiphon” by Ralph Vaughan Williams and others.

    When:
    Sunday, October 28, 2007, 3 p.m.

    Where:
    Community Music School Concert Hall, Webster University
    535 Garden Ave, east of the Loretto-Hilton Center

    Cost:
    Free and open to the general public
