Faculty Member and Coordinator of the Cecille R. Hunt Gallery Receives Curatorial Excellence Award

Dana Turkovic, the coordinator for the Cecille R. Hunt Gallery and adjunct faculty member in  art department, received an award for curatorial excellence and her contributions to the St. Louis art scene over the past few years. The award from the Santo Foundation was presented at the opening of an exhibition that she curated a few weeks ago at the Schmidt Contemporary Art Gallery on Grand Avenue. The Santo Foundation was established to recognize and assist the careers of individual visual artists by providing grants, travel stipends and artist-in-residence/studio exchanges in major cultural centers.
