“Path to Individuality” shares the passionate beliefs and movement styles of Sandy Busken and Claire Hilleren. “MesAmigas,” choreographed by Sandy Busken, follows friends as they dance in, on, and around a dining room table. Claire Hilleren shares the challenges of four sisters and the bonds of sisterhood, inspired by Anita Diamant’s “The Red Tent.” Original musical compositions by St. Louis composer, Tory Z. Starbuck, sets the atmosphere for a soloist’s intriguing account of children and curiosity. By using a romantic tutu in an unconventional way Claire Hilleren symbolizes nature’s affects on the physical, emotional and mental states of the body, mind and soul.
Seating is limited, as is parking, so please arrive early.
