Women in Iraq to be Discussed Nov. 13 at Webster University
WHO/WHAT:
Renowned feminism professor, Cynthia Enloe, of Clark University, will address,” Why Pay Attention to Women in the Iraq War?” Professor Enloe has traveled extensively speaking about the interconnectedness of women and politics internationally. She will address the feminine condition on both sides of the war, including the policies and regulations for U.S. military personnel, and the lack of security available to women in Iraq to fully take part in civic life.
