    A Gift to the City-A performance featuring numerous Webster University Ensembles

    What/Who:

    The Webster University Department of Music presents "A Gift to the City," a performance of holiday music by various University ensembles. Performers include the Webster University Chamber Orchestra, the Webster University Chorale, the Webster University Concert Choir, the Webster University Choral Society, faculty member guitarist Steve Schenkel with vocalist Ashley Mason and faculty member organist Earl Naylor.

    Music performed is from four centuries and includes "The First Noel," "Sleigh Ride," "Go Tell it on the Mountain" and the music of Mendelssohn and Vivaldi.

    This concert is part of the Cathedral's Shepley Concert Series.  The performance is the first kaleidoscopic concert the Department of Music has mounted in recent memory.

    When: Sunday, Dec. 13, 2:30 p.m

    Where: Christ Church Cathedral, 1210 Locust, St. Louis, MO

    Cost: Free and open to the public
