Student Jazz Combo Concerts at Webster University
What/Who:
Webster University student jazz combos perform in a concert featuring selections of classic jazz. The jazz combos are comprised of three to eight students majoring in jazz studies, directed by a faculty member or graduate teaching assistant. The students perform a wide range of music from composers such as Coltrane, Corea, Davis, Ellington, Liebman, Mingus, Parker, Shorter and Silver.
Dave Black, Paul DeMarinis, Tom Byrne and Christopher Braig direct the combos.
