    Webster University Jazz Faculty Present “New Music for Saxophone, Rhythm Section & String Quartet”


    What/Who:

    Webster University jazz faculty present “New Music for Saxophone, Rhythm Section & String Quartet.” The concert will feature a wide range of repertoire including original compositions by Kim Portnoy and standards such as “Soon” and “I Got Rhythm.” Faculty performers include Paul DeMarinis, saxophones; Katherine Collins, violin; Andrew Driscoll, violin; Leah Poe, viola; Tracey Andreotti, cello; Kim Portnoy, piano: Ric Vice, bass and Clarence Newell, drums

    When:    

    Monday, January 26, 2009, 7 p.m.

    Where:           

    Winifred Moore Auditorium, Webster University
    470 E. Lockwood Ave.
