Webster University Presents a Faculty Voice and Piano Concert entitled, "Love Gone Wrong, Songs of Love Amuck"

What/Who:

Webster University presents a Faculty Voice and Piano Concert entitled, "Love Gone Wrong, Songs of Love Amuck," a tribute to the dark side of love. The performers will sing about waiting for our true love to come along, losing our true love, our responses to lost love and love in the non-human world. Prepare for more laughter than tears in this concert. 

Repertoire will include "I Attempt from Love's Sickness to Fly," by Purcell; "Songs of Perfect Propriety," by Barab, and works by Faure, Copland, and Daugherty and from the music theater world ( Sondheim, Jason Robert Brown). Come one, Come all and laugh at the frustrations of love!

Jeffrey Carter, baritone

Nancy Mayo, piano
