    The Webster University Symphony Orchestra Presents Magically Mozart!

    The Webster University Symphony Orchestra presents "Magically Mozart! An evening of thrilling overtures, heart-felt arias and exquisite music from the pen of one of history’s beloved composers.

    Rivolgete a lui lo squardo, from “Cosi fan tutte,” K. 588

    Meta di voi qua vadano, from “Don Giovanni,” K. 527

    Overture to “Die Zauberflöte,” K. 620

    Featuring Webster University Faculty:

    Ian Greenlaw, Baritone

    Leah McGougan Poe, Violin

    When: Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009, 7 p.m.

    Where: Concert Hall of the Community Music School of Webster University, 535 Garden Ave.

    Cost:

    $10 general public, $5 seniors (over 60) Tickets are purchased at the door. Free to students with current ID. Season tickets for the WUSO are available by calling 314-968-7040.

    Dr. Davis comes to the podium with an extensive professional background that spans both the classical and jazz idioms in conducting, performance and teaching. His musical activities have taken him throughout the United States, Canada and Europe, including a highly acclaimed concert with the Grand Orchestre d’Harmonie des Guides of Brussels, Belgium.
