The Photography of Murat Türemis: After the Tsunami at Webster University’s May Gallery

What/Who:

Webster University presents the photography of Murat Türemis: After the Tsunami, at Webster University’s May Gallery. Türemis is based in Germany, but has pursued photo documentary projects around the world for several decades. An award-winning photojournalist, he arrived in Banda Aceh, Indonesia shortly after the devastating Tsunami in 2005, and recently returned to show what has happened in the interim. His work has appeared in National Geographic, among many publications.

Opening reception Friday, Oct. 29, 5–7 p.m.

Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday

Saturday and Sunday, noon to 5 p.m.
