The New Music Ensemble Presents a Concert at Webster University
What/Who:
The Webster University New Music Ensemble, under the direction of Duane Bridges, presents a Fall concert. The New Music Ensemble performs works written by student composers, as well as works from the 20th century repertoire. The Ensemble is dedicated to the exploration of acoustic and electronic media and new approaches to group improvisation.
This concert will feature works written by Webster Composers, David Bauer, Marilyn Grieshaber, Christian Hendricks, Kirk Hinkelman, Shumpei Ishige, Shawn Lucas and Greg Sabo.
Works range from art song and choral works to larger amplified ensemble pieces. The Ensemble will also perform Terry Riely's, "In C."
