    Webster University’s Opera Studio Presents “Spring Scenes”

    What/Who:

    Webster University’s Opera Studio, under the direction of Alice Nelson, will present a program of opera scenes. The program:

    Scenes from:

    Dialogues of the Carmelites               Poulenc

    The Barber of Seville                        Paisiello

    Sir John in Love                               Vaughan Williams

    The Pilgrim's Progress                       Vaughan Williams

    The Mikado                                      Gilbert & Sullivan

    Arabella                                           Richard Strauss

    Hansel & Gretel                                Humperdinck

    The role of Arabella is sung by Katherine Van Zandt, winner of the Webster Aria Competition. 

    When:

    Friday and Saturday, April 20 and 21, 7 p.m.

    Where:            

    Community Music School, Webster University

    Room 10
