What/Who:
Webster University presents its annual Opera Studio performance. Opera Studio is a highly select ensemble of Webster student singers, most of whom are undergraduate voice majors, performing scenes from opera and operetta. The production is under the artistic direction of Alice Nelson.
Selections for the performance include Opera scenes from:
“The Marriage of Figaro,” Mozart
“The Gondoliers,” Sullivan
“The Turn of the Screw,” Britten
“A Midsummer Night's Dream,” Britten
“Bastien and Bastienna,” Mozart
When:
Friday and Saturday, Jan. 23 and 24, 2009, 7 p.m.
Sunday, Jan. 25, 4 p.m.
Where:
Winifred Moore Auditorium, Webster University, 470 E. Lockwood Ave.
Cost:
$10 for the general public. $5 for senior adults.
