    U.S. Congressman Ike Skelton to Speak at Holden Public Policy Forum Nov. 12

    Congressman Ike Skelton (MO, 4th Dist.), chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, will be speaking from the Truman Library in Independence, Mo., at 12:30 p.m., as part of the Webster University Holden Public Policy Forum.

    Skelton has represented Missouri's Fourth Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives since 1977. He will offer perspective on national issues including national defense, military veteran benefits, health care and the Iraq War. Prior to his election to Congress, Skelton served as Lafayette County Prosecuting Attorney and as a Missouri State Senator.
