Sony Animator Comes to St. Louis

Aaron Pfau, senior technical animator at Sony Imageworks and a Webster University alumnus, will speak on “Working in Digital Filmmaking,” Monday, October 20th at 1PM, in the University Center, Sunnen Lounge, 175 Edgar Road, Webster Groves, Missouri. The event is sponsored by the Webster University School of Communications and is free and open to the public.

In his capacity as an animator, Pfau has worked in character animation on numerous feature films such as, Beowulf, King Kong, Harry Potter: Chamber of Secrets, Harry Potter: Sorcerer’s Stone, Sinbad, Shark Tales, Magnolia and many, many more.  Aaron has also worked for DreamWorks Feature Animation and Industrial Light & Magic.

Pfau is teaching a one-week long course on animation from Oct. 20-24. During his visit to St. Louis, he will be available to talk with media.
