Student Jazz Combos Concert #2 at Webster University

What/Who:

Webster University student jazz combos perform in a concert featuring selections of classic jazz. The jazz combos are comprised of three to eight students majoring in jazz studies, directed by a faculty member or graduate teaching assistant. The students perform a wide range of music from composers such as Coltrane, Corea, Davis, Ellington, Liebman, Mingus, Parker, Shorter and Silver. Willie Akin and Tom Byrne direct the combos.

When: Monday, Nov.9, 2009, 7 p.m.

Where: Winifred Moore Auditorium, 470 E. Lockwood Ave., Webster Groves
