    Webster University Symphony Orchestra Presents “Masters of the Art”

    What/Who:
    Webster University Symphony Orchestra, in its 41st season, presents a concert of “Masters of the Art” under the direction of Allen Carl Larson. This season is Conductor Larson's 36th season and will be his final season. As such this years musical offerings are the "Conductor's Favorites."

    Mozart: Symphony No. 41
    Brahms: Piano Concerto No. 2, featuring pianist Daniel Schene

    When:
    Sunday, Oct. 19, 2008, 7 p.m.

    Where:
    Community Music School of Webster University
    535 Garden Ave.

    Cost:
    $10 general public, $5 seniors (over 60) Tickets are purchased at the door. Free to students with current ID.

    Daniel Schene, director of keyboard studies at Webster University, has performed as a recitalist, concert soloist and chamber musician around the world. He is a frequent guest artist with the Saint Louis Symphony’s Chamber Music St. Louis Concerts and the Prelude series at Powell Symphony Hall. Schene records for CRI Records.
