Benefit Concert for the TKT Memorial Jazz Scholarship at Webster University

What/ Who:

“Music from the Movies” a jazz concert at Webster University. 

Performers include the Webster Jazz faculty featuring the vocals of Debby Lennon, Sherry Drake and Charles Glenn. They will be accompanied by pianists Carolbeth True and Kim Portnoy, with Willem von Hombracht, bass; Paul DeMarinis, tenor saxophone; Steve Schenkel, guitar; Tom Byrne, guitar and Kevin Gianino, drums.

All proceeds from the concert will benefit a scholarship established in memory of Terry Jackson, Kirk Cappello and Tony Saputo, three former Webster University music students who were members of Reba McEntire’s road band and died in a 1991 airplane crash. The scholarship was established by their family and friends to provide assistance to a music student showing exceptional professional promise.

Winifred Moore Auditorium, Webster University, 470 E. Lockwood Ave.

$10 at the door.
