British Reporter Speaks about Covering the War in Bosnia Nov. 26 at Webster University
Ed Vulliamy, a reporter for the British Observer covering the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina during the 1990s, will speak about his experience, Monday, Nov. 26, at 4 p.m. in the Webster University Emerson Library Conference Room. His presentation will be based on his book, Seasons in Hell: Understanding Bosnia’s War (St. Martins Press, 1994). Vulliamy was among the first journalists to describe the network of concentration campus operating in northwest Bosnia in 1992.
Vulliamy is was awarded the Granada Television’s Foreign Correspondent of the Year Award and the James Cameron Award, and was named Foreign Reporter of the year. He holds degrees from Oxford University and the University of Florence and has published numerous books.
